XB Vanguard FAQ

The following FAQ explains the basics of our TRIBE NINE fan ambassador program. If you already know what’s up and can’t wait to apply, feel free to scroll down to the application section.

■ What is the XB Vanguard program?

This program is designed to support content creators, influencers, and other community ambassadors who live stream, create art and/or videos, maintain wikis or other fan communities, host podcasts, etc. We want to help fans share their passion for TRIBE NINE while receiving benefits for their role in promoting the game and cultivating its community!

■ Who is this program for?

Basically, everyone!

If you’re a positive force in the community and are passionate enough to create content or discuss it with your followers on social media, we’d be delighted to welcome you to the program! We can’t guarantee that everyone will be selected, but we want to assure you that having a massive audience is not necessarily as important as your enthusiasm and dedication to the game!

■ How do I apply?

■ What are the requirements to join and remain in the program?

While we don’t have a specific set of requirements, TRIBE NINE content should be created on a somewhat regular basis in order to maintain participation in the program. We’re not particularly strict about this, but we do expect some activity each month. It’s up to you whether that’s a post commenting on a new character, an in-depth exploration of combat tactics, or some other form of community activity, engagement, or content creation.

• Active participation in existing TRIBE NINE communities (official or unofficial) is a huge plus! This program is not about recruiting new players or content creators for the game, but rather to recognize and reward the fans who are already playing and creating!
• Your online presence need not be G-rated, but content created for this program should try to match the tone (and age-rating) of the TRIBE NINE game. Accounts sharing overly graphic content will not be allowed. Please use your best judgment as we are unable to answer individual inquiries like, “Is this allowed?”
• You may not create or distribute graphic, NSFW fan art of TRIBE NINE characters from any online accounts associated with your activity as a TRIBE NINE XB Vanguard member.
• Applicants sharing or engaging in hate speech, harassment, etc. will not be considered. Applicants must also adhere to any local laws or existing guidelines for the platforms they use.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and reside in a country in which TRIBE NINE is officially distributed.

■ What are the benefits of joining?

Benefits may include, but are not limited to:

• Access to exclusive partner swag
• Promoted content via social media (on a case-by-case basis)
• Monthly free in-game currency
• Access to a private, Akatsuki Games-controlled Discord server to collaborate with the community team, and fellow XB Vanguard members
• Access to early updates/info to help you prepare content
• Invitation to sponsored events
• Items for you to give to your community to support contests, events, activities, etc.
• Exclusive custom overlay, promotional assets, partner kit, etc.

■ How long does it take to get approved?

Due to the volume of applications, it can take upwards of three weeks to receive a response from our team. From there, you’ll get an email with additional terms and details on how to join the program. We may not be able to respond to each applicant.

■ How will I receive my benefits?

If accepted into the program, you’ll be contacted by a member of the community team who will take you through the onboarding process and provide further details regarding benefits.

■ Are there any contracts or documents that I’ll be required to sign upon admittance to the program?

Yep! You’ll need to sign an official agreement which includes the rules of the program as well as an agreement to avoid disclosing confidential information. Additional agreements may be required in the future.

■ Is there a fee to apply for or join the partner program?
